1. Signs of the End of This Age - Present Time
This includes earthquakes, wars, storms, Israel's statehood, etc., as foretold by the prophets and Jesus in the Bible. These are not part of the judgments, but are just markers or signs of the end of the age. At this time, Jesus is separating the "wheat" from the "tares" as told of in the New Testament. (For signs of the end of the age, please read Matthew 24 and Luke 21. The "wheat" and the "tares" parable is Matthew 13:24-29).

2. First Resurrection. First Harvest of the End of This Age.
This first resurrection is for those who belong to Christ, both those who have died in Christ and those who are still alive. At this time, Jesus is gathering the "wheat" into His barn. The redeemed have to be gathered up before the judgments and tribulation start because the innocent and forgiven(those who are truly converted in their hearts, in whom Jesus sees of Himself) will not be judged or punished. "For the Lord Himself will come down from Heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive, and are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air." (Thessalonians 4:16-17)

3. Seven Years of Judgments from God & Tribulation from the Antichrist
During the seven years of judgments from God, He will: Judge the people, punish the wicked, and loose more harvest (the wild wheat) from the hand of the evil one. All, who call on Jesus' name during this time of tribulation, will be saved. The judgments include the plagues, etc. as told of in the book of Revelation. These plagues are literal...by no other means will the people be awakened or their hearts softened. The tribulation is from the antichrist (beast) and includes the persecution of the new believers and his war against them. The Second Harvest takes place during these seven years. Any believer, dying during this time, goes directly to Jesus, to be with those of the First Harvest.

4. Christ Returns and Establishes His Kingdom on Earth
When Christ returns, He will destroy the antichrist (beast) and his false prophet. Jesus will bind satan for one thousand years, and He will bind all the "tares" or wicked, who are left, and destroy them. (The "tares" are destroyed, a permanent state - not an endless torment). The beast's army will be destroyed with the sword of Jesus' mouth and the brightness of His coming.

5. Thousand Year Millennium - Seventh Day, a Period of Resting and a Reward for the Redeemed
This period of one thousand years is a period of resting and a reward for the redeemed. They will live and reign, with Christ, on earth. During this millennium, satan is bound. He will not be able to tempt the people.

6. Second Resurrection. Satan is released.
At the end of the thousand year millennium, satan is released one last time. Also resurrected, during this time, are all those who did not take part in the First Resurrection.

7. Final Judgment
All the books will be opened. This is the time of final decision for those who were not part of the First Resurrection. All prophets, who have ever lived, will be proclaiming the truth to the great multitude outside the gates. All people, who have chosen Christ, from the beginning until now, will be safely inside the gates. Also during this time, the newly redeemed will be welcomed in the gates, before the final battle happens.

8. Final Battle
Satan, and all those who follow him, will rage war against the holy city and the Lord. All of satan's army will be consumed by the fire from Heaven. Satan will be cast into the lake of fire where the beast and the false prophet were thrown. All of the books, and death, will also be cast into the lake of fire. Anyone, whose name is not written in the Book of Life, shall be cast therein.

9. Eternity with the Lord...We will be forever with the Lord. Amen.
"Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:3-4

This is not unlike the presentations I have been exposed to by dispensationalists regarding the events in the last times. It is the viewpoint held to by most Bible expositors seen today on TV.

I took note of two things explained here that I have seen herald differently, in the past, by both Trent and Timothy. I wanted to have them speak to that.

(1)Regarding the gathering up before the Tribulation:
Stated here, those "who belong to Christ" will be taken out from the earth,"because the innocent and forgiven will not be judged or punished"....but I have heard, from Timothy at numerous times, an exception to what is being stated here regarding those who will be taken out; saying there will be believers belonging to Christ who will need to be "refined" by trials offered in the Tribulation, and will therefore be left to go through the Tribulation for the purpose of refinement.

(2)Regarding the lake of fire: Trent has written that the human race of unbelievers will not spend eternity in the fires of hell. Here, those "whose name is not written in the Book of Life shall be cast" "into the lake of fire". It does not mention "for eternity" here, but is stated elsewhere in the Bible as being an eternal destination.
Revelation 20:10
“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

Refinement:
1 Corinthians 3

3:11
For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Yeshua the Messiah.

3:12
Some will use gold, silver or precious stones in building on this foundation; while others will use wood, grass or straw.

3:13
But each one's work will be shown for what it is; the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire - the fire will test the quality of each one's work.

3:14
If the work someone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward;

3:15
if it is burned up, he will have to bear the loss: he will still escape with his life,
but it will be like escaping through a fire.

Left behind not yet forgiven:

Mt 6:14-15
"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Those who practice lawlessness(forsake the 10 commandments):

Matthew 7:21-23
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

The Lord only gathers those He knows and sees of Himself in and walk in HIS ways.
1 John 2:3-6
3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

As to eternal torment I'll let Trent elaborate.

But this is what the Lord God says!

Proclaim NOT the Hell of the Church of Men...In Their Word is No Mercy Found, Only the Makings of Satan

1/14/06 - From God the Father - A Letter Given to Timothy, For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

THUS SAYS THE LORD:

Listen, all you churches of men!

Shall I, even I, torment My beloved, they who are tormented continually by he who is, and has, torment in his vesture? Satan is the tormentor. Not knowing, My children, by your own mouth, you have called your God satan. Repent, therefore, and mend your ways, forsaking your corrupt and evil teachings. Become, again, a child of God, and learn to walk uprightly, leading others into love, by love, not fear.

The second death is that grave from which one shall not be raised, nor awakened, for they have been cast out...abiding in outer darkness, forever separated from God and their part in life. These know not anything, forevermore returning to that which they were formed from. This is the eternal state of My punishment for those who have chosen death, by their forsaking of My Gift, wherein is life everlasting. So then, they under condemnation are dead. In no way are they part of the living, nor are they living in torment. Their inheritance is lost, they have been blotted out...a broken vessel of dishonor received by the earth once again.

Stop blaspheming your God!
Have greater understanding of My mercies that endure forever.

My Son did sleep in the lower parts of the earth...His tomb...for three days.
By no means did He descend into the evils of man’s imaginings.

He is the Pure Light. Never has He had any part in darkness. He shall destroy it utterly.

He is risen!
And all those, who follow and believe in Him, shall also rise and live...meeting Him in the air.
Forever shall they be with their Lord and their God, where all shall find mercy and love.

Amen.

I pray, Terry, the Lord increases in you fear unto wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One, for in Him ONLY is understanding (Proverbs 9:10).

In Christ's service and Love,
Timothy

Mom,

Hi.

I like your questions.
Yes, there will be a load of cultural Christians who profess faith in Christ left for refinement as the "wild wheat" of the second harvest ... gleaned in the seven year tribulation and shepherded by 144,000 servants of the Lord left in service.

However, one must have discernment about this, for it is only God who sees the hearts of men. So, many who profess things with their mouth will be found to be liars in that day. For it is not the "church-goers" or the "professors of faith" that are gathered in that day. Rather it is those of whom the Lord sees of Himself in them ... and by "of Himself" I speak of that part of Himself called the Spirit and Holy. For as many as have forsaken Him and know Him not will be left behind, no matter their ability to pass muster as a common everyday "Christian." So, in that day there will be great humbling in the hearts of those who are fakers and are shown to have a "said faith" but lacking substance. ..

Now, it should be known that the Lord Jesus knows all that the Father commended to Him to save ... and whether they are (at this time) saved or merely appointed to salvation by the willingness within them. And furthermore, a great many of the ones that are willing, but are not born a second time are among the churches and have presented the appearance of being the real-deal ... perhaps even ignorant, themselves, of their true spiritual poverty and depravity. Nevertheless, a great harvest is coming in the Day of the Lord ... multitudes in the valley of decision. ALL of these are surely those that "belong to Christ." For they will be presented by Christ in that day to the Father as beautiful and refined. Furthermore, many of these will say on that day that they were left behind as "believers" ... but they will not be boasting about belief or dogma in that day, for even the demons believe and shudder.

In no wise will the Lord leave a single person of whom He sees of Himself in them. No forgiven person will be subjected to the wrath of God for to do so would make His sacrifice of non-effect.

Now for the second question. Annihilation is eternal punishment, but it is not eternal torment. The damned will not last long in the Fire. Furthermore, even though the devil, false-prophet and beast are said to be "tormented day and night" in the fire, it is clear a few verses later that even day and night are destroyed, for when the Kingdom is revealed there is no longer any day or night. For even "forever and ever" are NOTHING next to Eternity and that language in the Bible is used very loosely.

We even use it loosely, because I told someone it took "forever and ever" for me to find a cell-phone charger today. Was it really forever and ever? No it was about 20-40 minutes.

Consider Jonah in the whale "forever."

Jonah 2:6
I was going down to the bottoms of the mountains, to a land whose bars would close me in forever; but you brought me up alive from the pit, ADONAI, my God!

That was Jonah's prayer in the belly of the whale. And I do not begrudge his use of the word "forever" even though it was only 3 days and 3 nights.

So, read Rev. 20:10 again and see with eyes wide open ... for God's revelation is in complete agreement. Wide is the path that leads to "torment?" No. Wide is the path that leads to destruction.
amen.

Please, more questions like these. And if I have been unclear or confusing ... please ask a follow up question in order to clear up the confusion.

I love you,
Trent

Another related Word from Jesus' mouth:

"And by no means can one be cast into hell, to suffer day and night without end. This teaching is false and myth, borrowed from the deceiver, who upon all pagan religion was built. Sons of men, know you not what the Scriptures say, that whosoever believes in the Son abides eternally; and whosoever, has not the Son, shall perish and not see life. How, then, shall one say that whether one believes or believes not, both have eternal life? This teaching among the churches is of the church, called mother, and is of her father, the devil, of which she continually emulates, seeking after her own glory, which she claims she had received of Me...she shall be cut in pieces. And only those, who I see of Myself in them, fastened securely to their heart, in spite of their error, shall escape My fury when it comes...Lo, it will come, for the Day is at hand." ~ Jesus
