Seriously, don't Christians tend to portray some sins "more damnable" than others?
My point is that the hypocritical religious bigots deserve the harshest criticism, and Jesus was "all up in their grill." He drew them out and made spectacles of them. He flaunted freedom to expose the pharisees of His day to the light and reveal their prideful elitism based upon empty religious form. It is clear when reading the Gospels that Jesus was not interested in putting up with these people, nor with their toxic religiosity that were driving wedges between God and His people.
Nobody but nobody got worse treatment by Jesus then the religiously pious ... and the religiously pious thought the only thing that they could do to stay in power and in control was to kill Him.
So, if you are not a porn star, and you think Jesus loves you, but not them ... are you not prideful in heart ... a bit of a pharisee yourself?
Paul was a serial murderer. Mary was a prostitute. But, as the love of God through the Lord Jesus was revealed to them, they were broken by that love particularly because of the horror and stigma of their sin in stark contrast to His unconditional love.
Lets be agents of agape to a desperate world.
Jacob,
You have it, bro!
Jesus comes to heal the sick, not the well. I am so glad that He came for me, as real sicko ... And, because He loved me first, and forgave me of much, I don't want to leave His side.

So give directly to the poor, as your heart leads you, for in serving God shall no man profit by monetary means, but shall profit only by that which the Lord God gives. And the profit God gives is true, and in no wise is it of men or mammon. For the Lord delights in that which one gives to another, in My name, and by the works of their own hands and feet in all righteousness...this is the tithe in which the Lord delights most. If one comes to you, saying, ‘Give me a cup of water...give them a drink in My name. If one comes, saying, ‘I need a shirt, for I am naked and cold...give them your shirt and your coat also. And if this same one asks, ‘Will you walk with me this far?...go with them double. So tithe not just of your money, but of your possessions, of your body, of your strength, of your time, of your very life, and you shall receive ten-fold in Heaven and in the Kingdom to come. Do this, and you shall really know Me and the Father also, for I am of the Father. [Jesus speaking] (Receive the Lords Blessing - Letters from God and His Christ - Volume 6)
